Teach Nutrition Award

Teacher Programs: Nutrition Innovation Award for Ontario Teachers

This award supports and recognizes the creative nutrition initiatives of kindergarten to grade 8 teachers in Ontario!

It is important to teach your students about healthy eating and encourage them to develop skills for eating well. We want to acknowledge and support your efforts.

Up to 100 awards of $100 each will be presented every year to selected kindergarten to grade 8 teachers in Ontario, in recognition of their innovative and original ideas for teaching nutrition.

If you are interested in trying some new and creative ideas in your classroom, visit our Innovative Ideas page.

The contest for this school year has closed, thank you to all teachers who applied! Winners will be announced on February 24, 2012. Please check back in the Fall for more details on the 2012-2013 contest.
