Fightbac offers food safety information for educators, media and consumers. Many free downloadable resources are available.

Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
The CFIA is a government organization responsible for regulating the Canadian food supply. This site is a great resource for up-to-date information on food recalls, allergy alerts and labelling issues.

Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
This site offers various fact sheets pertaining to different areas of food safety. You can also find links to your local Public Health unit.

Ontario Community Food Advisors (CFAs)
This site offers free interactive presentations in the classroom on healthy snacking, lunches, food safety and hygiene/hand-washing demonstrations (glow-germ program).
